Greetings

UPDATE: April 2011

I was trying to use this page recently and realized it was out of date.

I have corrected it enough to make it work but there are issues.

  1. The form in the P.S. doesn't work. If I update it to use signed REST requets, it will be almost identical to this form - so I am not going to do that.
  2. I can't seem to get it to work with my XSLT. I am also not going to work on that right now since I've not even checked to see if the XSLT will work with the XML Amazon returns. You can see the XSLT I used to use for this here.
  3. I am sure the Author Search and Find List dont' work.
  4. I have only tested Keyword search but I think the similar and similar will work.

ORIGINAL PAGE BELOW

I wrote this page after I first learned of Amazon.com's Web Services. I've left this page and the script that goes with it up for your experimentation.

It is very crude and was thrown together in bits and pieces as a way for me to test my other AWS projects. It is not elegant, but I think it works in most cases. As a matter of fact, I still use it when I want to see the raw XML AWS returns.

Have fun.

The Search Form

UPDATE: You must check this checkbox for this to work - see above.

P.S.
I have another old form that posts directly to Amazon.com.
